I think if one nation attacks another nation, that's adequate justification for interference in one form or another. |

Nowhere in the constitution does it say we can have an air force, but we do. Nowhere in the constitution does it say we can have highways stretching coast-to-coast, but we do. Nowhere in the constitution does it say our nation is allowed to stretch from the atlantic to the pacific, but it does.
Making claims that it isn't in the constitution and then not making that claim for everything else is hypocritical. You are either a strict constitutional constructionist or you are not, stop being a hypocrit. |

It's more likely that your interpretation of constitutional law is flawed. We all know that there are plenty of things in our society today that are not SPECIFICALLY written about in the constitution. So why don't you come up with a reasoned response instead of "It does say it in the constitution". |

I did read it and couldn't find it. I specifically asked you to cite the passage and you pussy-footed around multiple times because you had no idea what you were even referring to, and you still haven't shown what you were actually talking about.
And it has nothing to do with taking someone's word for it. You presented an argument and you were called on it. I knew you were lying about what you were saying, so I called you, and now you're trying to shift it to being me that doesn't know what I'm talking about. Face it; you were wrong. |
