What rights am i losing? Are you insane? Patriot Act takes away some of our rights, people are trying to ban the word nigger, many schools, offices, etc ban words or non politically correct speech. TV is unwatchable, groups are trying to ban how movies are made. The freedom to do whatever i want to my body, i can't legally kill myself, i can't smoke cannabis, i can't do whatever other drugs i want (i don't but if i did i should be able to). The government is telling you what you should do with your life and I DO NO LIKE IT! |
Have you ever spoken to a realm life anarchist? Thats not the view they hold at all, try searching it on youtube, there is a good video somewhere.
The patriot act would not neccesarily be taken away in a libertarian society, after all, thats for the defense of the country, something that libertarians still believe to be important. The government has a duty to safeguard your life, from others, and yes, from yourself, this is the reason we tax cigarettes. I agree bans on pot aren't a good thing, but other political parties want to make that legal too. |
