I fear being like everyone I hate, I fear failure, I fear losing control. I love balancing between chaos and control with everything I do. "Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."

Life... is like a box of chocolates.
A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.
-The Cigarette Smoking Man, known affectionately as The Cancer Man, from the X-files. |

It is not a quote, but a passage from the Gospels of Thomas (Gnostic)
An unnamed man once asked Jesus: "How do we find eternal peace in the Kingdom of Heaven, how do we find salvation?"
Jesus wept.
The man asked Jesus "Why do you weep"?
Jesus said nothing
The man asked Jesus again "Why is it that you weep"?
Jesus said "I weep because Man shall never find Heaven, he knows not where to look, for Heaven is right here on Earth
Note:
One of the main reasons that I love this passage so much is because it clearly demonstrates the Hindu/Buddhist philosophy in his message. This is one of the great hoaxes that has been perpetrated on Mankind. The fact that from the ages of 17 to his mid 30's Jesus travelled to the Far East to study under Hindu Masters. There are more Hindu writings on Jesus Christ, the man, than there are Christian ones. You won't hear this information from Father Sneakafeel during his Sunday services. |

happy. May the glaciers of oblivion drag me and mercilessly let me fall.

"Voting machines getting hacked means the next president will be chosen by some teenager in Finland instead of deep-pocket, autofellating, corporate shitbags. How is that not an improvement?"

When politicians start citing God as the authority for whatever they want to do, they are usually promoting some policy that defies human reason.

They cannot scare me with their empty spaces
Between stars - or stars where no human race is
I have it in me so much nearer home
To scare myself with my own desert places.
