| Turk and I do not agree on a whole lot of things, but I have to state that I agree with Turk on the value of voting your conscience and not what a party tells you to vote. By swallowing the "vote the lesser evil" you are becoming a puppet to the "kingmakers" in our political system. They give you a choice between two packaged, prep, and premade candidates that will do their agenda and expect that you (the citizen) will "vote the lesser of the evils". |

| I'm satisfied with my vote for Barr. I just could not in good conscience vote for either major party candidate. Especially after they both voted in favor of the bail out package. I'd much rather vote for someone I want and not get him, than to vote for someone I don't want and get him anyway. Hopefuly now the Republicans will next time nominate someone with more libertarian principles, though I still rather doubt it. The american voters collectively chose Obama, and I accept that. And I also don't feel that Obama is as extremely liberal as people think he is. In fact I voted for him, in the primary election. |
