For those who know him or have seen him speak
Richard Dawkins has been placed out there as a beacon of truth stating that we are on a speeding train that is on a collision course that can only lead to bloodshed in the name of religion.
In his productions "The Root of all Evil" and "The Virus of Faith" he shows how religion makes us feel righteous in the abominable things we as man do to one another and how we pass these pernicious beliefs onto our children
What do you think of him and of what he says?

| I agree with pretty much everything he says, but not always with the way he says it. I don't think he's necessarily a very good public speaker, although he is a very good writer. Even then, though, i found his most recent book (the god delusion) lacking for completeness, to a certain degree. |

Oh I disagree Exton..
Have you heard him speak?
He's extremely knowledgeable, and sardonic
While some have called him condescending - I believe that comes from his constantly being attacked for what he says
...also if you listen to him
much of what he says is on the whole common sense |

Brilliant. A bit rough around the edges and not an extremely 'likable' guy, but brilliant.
Have you been to his website?

He and Sam Harris are making great strides here in the United States with taking on the growing Christdiots... I'm sorry, I meant creationists. |

You cannot discount what he says...
he's very eloquent and knowledgeable
about the inconsistencies of religion in the modern world
...what he says is sometimes very frightening
it's amazing how bonded human society is to these antiquated and barbaric traditions |

It's amazing that civilization continues to work, plagued as it is with such people. |
