| Thats kinda the point, not everyone thinks the risk involved in competition(i.e. some people having to get the short end) is a good thing to put into the school system. |

| I think it's worth noting that the public school system isn't a monopoly. The existence of private schools clearly indicates otherwise. |

| How are public schools a racket? And if they are rackets, how are they any more so than education for profit? |

| About half of admissions should be cut for the education racket, so that they can focus on paying the teachers to teach students and not steal money from the taxpayer. |

I think that education should be privitized and there should be no dept of education to commit fraud |

The only fraud has been under a Republican administration.
There is nothing wrong with government. It's who put in charge of government that matters. There's nothing wrong with FEMA. Heckuva job Brownie is the problem.

How would privatizing education solve anything at all? I attended a private school for high school, and I definitely would never support privatizing all education. It gave me a great education, yes, but if I had to choose anything I'd go with improving the public system that is freely available to all instead of privatizing it all, which limits access to education to a lot of families. |

What specifically is the "fraud" you mention?

So you would prefer private companies to treat you fraudulently rather then the government? |

Things like school books? or buildings? or maintenance contracts?
Sure there is some waste, fraud and abuse, but do you believe that the private sector has ZERO waste, fraud and abuse? Do you believe there are any human organizations larger then 50 people that have ZERO waste? |

| This is what I don't understand. You don't trust an organization made up of people you accuse of being power-hungry, yet you put all of your trust in an organization made up of people whose sole purpose it is to make money and be as powerful as possible. |

Lets see the most expensive chairs and tables for administration top dollar.
Many things that are not used on childrens education, there are many instances of waste and theft in the education racket. |
