Yes, there are. There just aren't enough children that people want to adopt.
And, of course, that's still assuming that abortion continues.
Were abortion discontinued, there wouldn't be enough people willing to adopt all the results. At one point or another, adoption is no longer a viable solution. |

This isn't something where you can or should say "I'd wanna have an abortion"
How can anyone say something like that?
BUT....
If you or your wife or your daughter is ever faced with an unwanted pregnancy...or has been raped or becomes pregnant and has health or mental issues
I think you'll be thankful that you have that choice |

Easily. It's a surgical procedure. People agree to those all the time.
Abortions aren't fun, but they're baby-eating festivals either. There's no need to act all somber about it. |

exton- It's usually an age factor that makes people not want to adopt, but whatever, I'd be fine having more kids in our futures.
Not that I'm against abortion, I just think it'd be nice to meet my child after fifteen years. |

And some liberals are even questioning of that position. I know I call into question my beliefs on an at least weekly basis. |

| Pro-choice does NOT mean anti-life. That is the part of the argument that pisses me off the most. I am a guy and I am pro-choice because I am not the one carrying the fetus. I therefore do not have any right to tell her what she can and can't do to her body. If I were to get someone pregnant, I would encourage her to keep the baby to term and put it up for adoption, but since it is her body, it is ultimately her choice and it is not my place to infringe on that right. |
