He probably felt someone was bound to bring the dirt out of the closet...maybe the girl he was cheating with at the time...probably at the last minute of his campaign. I guess he felt it was better to air out his dirt now than later.

Now all he has to do is air out his draft dodging of Vietnam...The house banking scandal he was involved in...and his lucrative dealings with Rupert Murdoch, owner of fox news...

If he is elected, the people will affectively be electing Ruper Murdoch ( News Corp and Fox News )... as well as Southwest Corporate who donated millions to him.

I hate that "don't hate the player hate the game" saying, I can hate the player for conforming to the rules of the game if I want to.

The republican try for impeachment had absolutely nothing to do with morality ... the law or anything other than a zealtry try to bring down someone they saw as a threat

...remember Paula Jones' nose job?
Just check out who paid for it

Gingrich cheated on his wife, had the balls and honesty to admit it, and apologized for it. He never broke the law or killed anyone in the process.

Clinton cheated on his wife, lied about it under oath to 300 million people in violation of Federal law, and tried to avoid impeachment by killing 10, 000 Iraqis in bombing raids on civilian targets under the pretense of enforcing "no-fly" zones.

Also, Gingrich was better at balancing the budget.

Gingrich > Clinton.

Gingrich > Clinton.

How long has it been cheating before he admitted it?

Also...do you think he just recently admitted this due to his presidential run?

I'm not sure, but I know that this isn't exactly news.

Yea...I knew about his cheating and shady deals with Rupert Murdoch a while back.

I guess it's better for him that he admitted it now rather than later.

The american public will now forget all about it come election time, sadly enough.

Even though, I could care less if a politician cheats. Hell, I've cheated on girlfriends before...No big deal.

gingrich was busted for cheating on his wife and was forced to admit it because of what he did to clinton. so i think you are giving him a little too much credit.

The balls and honesty to admit it...a decade after the fact, and having tried to hang another man for doing the same thing, purely for political gain?

Right.

Yes, that's right, bubba bombed iraq to avoid impeachment. That makes plenty of sense.

Gingrich opposed clinton in balancing the budget.

You obviously weren't paying attention to the news at the time. He started bombing Iraq on the very same day when imperachment proceedings were scheduled to begin, and Congress decided to delay impeachment as a result.

If by that you mean "Clinton opposed Gingrich's attempts to balance the budget", then yes, you'd be correct.
