### Feb 4. 2009 ### I heard Senator DeMint Rep SC make a speech in congress today saying that conservatism is not responsible for this.... and not approving of that.... Not responsible for Fannie May and Freddie Mac and Not responsible for Wall Street or the Bail out. Well, isn't that the point you simple southern conservative, you weren't responsible. And why? may I ask? did you wait for everything to go haywire before you came up with your conservative counter plan against the liberals! You must have been playing it conservative not doing anything! And, isn't it convenient to be a nay sayer now, against the dems trying to do something for the sake of enviromental themed spending or public health spending, which is after all, meant to try to fix the stuff that you weren't responsible for? The conservatives were in charge the majority of the last 8 years. They wrecked the economy while the rich got much richer and the poor got much poorer. So BTW, How do you know when a Conservative is not following principled conservatism! ... I Know...When Their Lips move or when they cast stones at liberals. javascript:emoticon(' ')Love Ryan |

| I agree they are trying to do something and the republicans should have done something, however, I think the environmental themed spending is a feel good measure. The public health reforms they are trying to do will make it harder for people to access health care. It could as much as double the price of health care. I am afraid that in their eagerness to fix the problems they are going to create more. |

| Do democrats favor getting rid of Fannie and Freddie? I didn't know that to be the case. I rather doubt it. |
