| I also reconise reality and that no one book has all the answers and no one book has been kept the same for over millions of years. Im considered Catholic by my parents but when some asks me what religion I am I just say that I acknowledge God and that he or she decides your fate after death. I dont believe in any particular religion too many people take religion way too literaly. |

| How can you try to recognize of reality, and at the same time make arbitrary decisions about its nature? |

Surely the truth in a book is not dependant on its age, otherwise the older a book became, the less true it would be. Therefore, by your logic, a maths book saying 3x3=9 would eventually be seen to be incorrect. |

No, by his logic, a history book written thousands or millions of years after the events it describes would be most likely incorrect. |
