Every culture in the world has its own creation myths. Must we then include them all in science lessons? Why is it only the Christian myth that should be taught in our schools?
Of course, the reason is that the fundamentalist Christians who swallow this garbage don't see it as a myth, but as reality!!! There lies the dilemma. Their view of their God and His creation is so narrow, so tiny compared to the view revealed by centuries of scientific research, observation and experiment, that it makes me wonder whether or not they are capable of any thought at all.
Obviously not.
I remember the Bible stories when I was forced to attend Sunday school and school assembly as a child, but I don't ever recall hearing about dinosaurs mingling with Biblical characters, certainly not on Noah's ark either.
