Very true, but some also know him as the former Republican Senator from Tennessee, where as he was very well liked, respected, and supported.
He is tough as they come, and he is also everything this Country needs if he does choose to run for President in 2008, he is talking about it being very possable.
America needs him. |

How do you figure that he "looks angry"? He has a smile on his face, not a big smile, but still, that is a smile.. And he has a lot to be happy about, if he so chooses to run for office, I believe he will be our next President. |

| If he doesn't have facial recognition by now he won't win, no chance. The arms folded, penetrating stare and set jaw kinda led me to the angry conclusion. |

How could he not win the Conservative vote? He is the only real Conservative Republican so far that has even shown any intrest at all in running for President in 2008. |

| He may be "unknown" to you, but he isn't so much unknown to the rest of the Country, and besides, as I noted, it pretty much looks as though there are no other Republicans that even want to run for President in 2008 other than Fred Thompson. |

Giuliani may very well claim to be a Republican, but he is like John McCain as far as that goes, he leans too far to the left.
What I really like about Fred Thompson, is he RIGHT all the way, in some other opinion's he leans too far to the right, he isn't one of those political leaders that sugar coats anything, he is like me, he will lay all the cards on the table, and say this is the way it is, like it or lump it, that is the kind of leader I like, I never cared about people that like to feed me ear candy, I either want the truth, or I want you to shut up, don't tell me something that will make me feel good if it isn't true, because if it isn't true, it's worthless information. |

It's a popularity contest in which he's already very popular amongst republicans and conservatives. |
