| Evan Bayh was my 1st pick-second only to Mccain in experience(As of 1/2007, 16 years in elected office to McCain's 26), a surefire way to pick up Indiana, one of the most conservative states in the country, and a more charismatic & unifying figure than Rudy, Hillary or Romney. |

| Unfortunately, experience isn't everything. I like Bayh, but I don't really see how this is relevant. He's already endorsed Clinton, and he's not been a large vocal supporter of many of the things the average Democrat is concerned with these days. |

Dick cheney has been working in government for something like 30 years.
Which goes to show, i think, that "experience" shouldn't be on the top of your list of qualifications, when it comes ot political candidates. |

You are absolutely right ex
we need more people with less experience, we can always count on them to be more honest than the ones that know how to con the system and its people. |

| Bayh is a closet republican, adhering more to his mother's politics than his father's. He proved his association with the republicans the whole time he was governor and hobnobbbed with Quayle and Goldsmith...trust me, he's no democrat... |
