In my opinion, VP Dick Cheney has every right to resist any oversight of anything he does. He is Dick Cheney, he does what he wants. He is the freaking VICE PRESIDENT and checks and balances do NOT come into play when your messing with him.

you fucking terrorist loving democrats! of course everyone in the administration should be allowed to conceal their every action, because if not then the terrorists will know what is going on and they will use that to attack us, similar to how they were able to find out that FEMA was conducting "terror drills" on 9/11 and that would make it so our standard automatic NORAD defenses would be vulnerable, which is the only way those damn terrorists were able to pull it off. what dumb luck, if they had tried that any other day, they would have been fucked. same thing happened in britian on 7/7...those terrorists knew MI6 was going to be conducting terror drills because of government transparency or something. keep it all a secret so we can be safe.

Mr Cheney came into office and started out with not allowing the names of the people who took part in his energy task force>>>>>PRE 9/11
Mr Cheney allowed oversight on his classified information that came thru his office in 2001 in 2002 and in 2003...so what happened then?
was the terrorist information suddenly needing to be Extra Special secret in 2004???
...and finally ALL other offices within the White House has and continues to follow the rule of law and allows oversight of their daily material
What's really laughable is the REASON Mr Cheney states he doesn't have to comply...
....because his office is not really part of the executive branch  |

We should keep that in mind before anyone impeaches Bush. Cheny would become prez. Seems to me the wise thing to do, if any impeachments ever went through, is to listen to Kucinich and impeach Cheny first. |
