Wouldn't this be kinda violating the 9th amendment anyway? I mean, if abortion is protected under privacy, why can't pregnancy be? I can't remember which case it was, but it had to do with a a state law that required the woman to tell her spouse, so it went to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court said that the law was unconstitutional because what if the baby wasn't the spouses baby? It would bring domestic turmoil.
I think the same applies to this, if a girl gets pregnant, that's going to be some major domestic turmoil, especially for hardcore conservative parents. |
Actually if you look at Roe v. Wade were the case did not actually rule on the legalization of abortion but the right of privacy a women having an abortion had. If I'm correct somebody wanted the list of women having abortions named and put out to access or something along those line and the court ruled against it. This Death certificate violates it. |
