| This theory was put forth by David Stoesz, a social policy/welfare expert and former casework who felt both sides were equally guilty of this. In his mind both liberalism and conservatism are "outdated artifacts of the industrial era". We need to move beyond them and figure out the best solution for each individual problem, focusing more on what is proven to work. |

We recently had this quote come up. If they are outdated artifacts, what do you propose that we replace them with? |

| I agree with Simone. Our country is going nowhere with the liberals and conservatives fighting. These two trains of though are restricted. A new one needs to be adopted that used sensibility and common sense to solve problems, not just politics and idealism. |

Thanks Averell. We made the movie so people could see how the ideology and terms have changed over time to become increasingly useless and see the need to discuss possible solutions. (AmericanFeud dot org)
People ask us what our solution is. We usually answer that would have at least been a whole other documentary. There's not one simple thing. But I think we can at least start with losing our "tribal affiliation" with one ideology or another and being open to common sense solutions wherever they may come from. |
