Some feel that today's liberals have a nostalgia for the '60's, in particular the idea of revolution and big protests, that blinds them to todays realities.

I can't say that I have any idea what you're talking about. I was born two decades after the 60's, have never heard a single liberal politician reminisce of the 60's, and have never heard a single liberal mention anything close to revolution.
